No more Witchcraft or idols but JESUS CHRIST ALONE is the answer!

We had four days incredible crusades in India from June 11-14, 2009. Jazmin villagers heard the Gospel for the first time and hundreds of people responded in each nights. The Gospel of Jesus Christ preached with power and the Church of Jesus Christ planted. Jazmin is one of the hundreds of villages that never heard the Gospel. On the first night about 80% of the people who attended the service decided to follow Jesus Christ. The translator could not control himself weeping watching those people giving their heart to Jesus with tear. One man, very known as a murderer and has been on the government black list for long time gave his life to the Lord. “What the government cannot change Jesus could!” said as he was giving the testimony on the next day. In the book of Acts we read many times that when Apostles preached Jesus Christ, the Lord conformed His Word with signs and wonders.

The presence of Jesus Christ was real in Yazmin in every single night and healed many people., Blind eyes saw, deaf ears heard, mute spoke, tumor vanished, broken bone recovered and able to walk with out any problem. The spirit of witchcraft broken and loss the people of Yazmin in Jesus name. More than anything seeing people coming out from darkness and entering into the Kingdom of God was the main reason of the service. No more idols but Jesus rein in the heart of Yazmin. God willing we plan to go around the world and reach the unreached with the love of God proclaiming that Jesus saves. Jesus said to His disciples (for us as well) in Mark 16: 15 “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature”. Rev. Dr. Kingsly Lazarus send us an invitation to hold Gospel Miracle Crusade in Chennai, India at their annual convention meeting from June 11th - 14th, 2009. Thousands are expecting to come from different parts of the country and be a part of this open air revival fest. Pastor Henock D. Mulugeta will be traveling with brother Solomon Bashu from Rochester, NY (IEM east cost representative) and Pastor Kipruto from Mombasa, Kenya (IEM Kenya representative). The Evangelistic miracle service will be held in the evening as well as training for hundreds of Pastors and full time ministers in the morning session. Then on Monday they will be visiting some orphanage and do service to the kids. We believe and expect God whom we serve in spirit and truth to save and heal many people in the name of Jesus Christ through the power of Holy Spirit. IEM Ethiopia 2009 Mission

International evangelism mission (IEM) is a non-government organization that exists to Minster all denominational Christian and to evangelize others through their culture, discipleship and mission. IEM cooperates with Evangelical students and graduate union of Ethiopia (EvaSUE) which is also a non-government local organization that exists to Minster all campus students in Ethiopia registered with the ministry of justice as a legal entity in 1978 before 30 years.

IEM works to support society, youth and communities to improve their livelihood through training promotion of participatory and sustainable development focusing on Jesus. IEM is wide open to collaborate with Kingdom minded Christ centered Christian organizations, Church leaders, local governmental structures, and community at large for evangelism, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project. It also links the project implementation with other partner working in the area for greater impacts.

IEM’s project for mission 2009, Ethiopia.

One of the visions, IEM is to give the good news for all societies. The Goal of the organization is to support men, women, youth and children to improve their living through the support of participatory and sustainable growth focusing on bible. The objective is to afford and improve the stipulation of biblical education to about 50,000 people in four areas northern and southern, Ethiopia with one month with center of attention on gospel of Jesus Christ.

The total cost of ($7,000.00)for one month days will enable IEM to expand its mission program to 50,000 people (10,000 non-believers and 40,000 re- evangelize) facilitated by 10 trained youth. As a result of the program we expected many people became a follower of Jesus and also in the re- evangelism program we will see many of them back to the real life of Christ, also they will receive continuous care and support by churches for the discipleship program, northern and southern Regional of Ethiopia.

Project Methodology :

EvaSUE and IEM has the necessary experience and truck record in implementing evangelistic crusade , education and care program in the area. It has implemented evangelistic crusade projects for the last 3 consecutive years in the area with similar context. EvaSUE has to provide the good news around 78,000 people in the last 2 years and 5000 has came to Christ. All target groups planned to be reached by this project were targets in the last projects.
The project is adherent to the best practice emphasizing the involvement of the community referral system. Peer educators will be trained about contextual evangelism and post counseling to offer the service to people who decided to reach out. The total average number of people planned for missionary 100 volunteers. We have a training program for the missionary, Education materials in such a way that the participants can ask, reflect and discuss their concern. The peer educators have an accessible point person for counseling, guidance or further training.

Arbaminch Report

JESUS CHRIST The Son of God SAVES!

Indeed our God is an awesome God. We had incredible time in Arbaminch last weekend. Hundreds came to know the Lord with in those three days crusade. Many got healed with the power of God. Satan power was broken. The enemy was so hungry to the point of encountering us face to face. Many people were set free from the demonic spirit and bondage. As I heard from the report there were two witch men that came to the service to distract and curse me. I remember one of them start coming to the stage screaming. I did not know the language but felt he was cursing. So We rebuked the spirit and broke any curse that was declared on the service. They took the guy and prayed for. Another person came to curse the service but could not. As we were praying the spirit manifested and the guy was set free from witchcraft spirit. Goiter and tumors vanished. Deaf ears opened and more miracles performed among God's people. One young man who was unable to walk or even stand because of tumor around his back was healed and able to walk. He gave a testimonies that he used to beg money at the door of the church to support himself. As we were praying for the sick his tumor disappeared and able to walk freely. We are still hearing testimonies after testimonies from the local churches. Unknown number of deaf people got healed and able to hear clearly. All Glory belongs to Jesus who is worthy to be praised and honored.

Right now we are in Nazareth. The service started yesterday and having great time in the Lord. Keep pray for the people of Nazareth to come to know the Lord. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Crusade Testimonies

Nazareth, Asosa, Nekemt, and Geray Report
In Mark 16: 15-19 Jesus said to His disciples, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation…. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." …Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it." Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forevermore.
After Arbaminch I went to Nazareth with Pastor Daniel Makonnen. For those of you that do not know Pastor Daniel, he is my Pastor and spiritual father (mentor). God has been using him so mightily for the past 40 years among Ethiopians and around the world and it was humbling experience to minister with him at Nazareth Gospel Light Church. The Lord opened deaf ears, and healed many people in Nazerath.
"I could not hear for more than 19 years but now Jesus opened my ears."
After Nazareth we went to Asosa, then Nekemt and it was incredible. In every service the Lord was healing many people and performing miracles. More than anything else, to see hundreds coming and returning back to the Lord brought joy to the heavens and grief to setan.. Deaf ears opened, mute tongue spoke, blind eye opened, and many got delivered from demonic spirits. God’s blessing poured upon His people.
Electrified atmosphere of the Holy Spirit shocked Asosa in those meetings. The city was overjoyed because of what the Lord has done. Even after we done the service it was difficult to drive through because people were singing and dancing in the middle of the street. The presence of The Holy Spirit was real in service so tumors, goiters, blindness, and deafness, and demonic spirits could not stay among the people.
"I was blind but now I can see!"
It was amazing to see God’s hand moving in Nekemt and healing many people in the service. On the last day Lutheran Mekane Yesus Church brought their deaf and mute students from deaf school, and God opened 21 kids’ deaf ears and released their tongue. These kids never heard or spoke since their birth and you can imagine how they react. We checked every one of them and conformed their healing. Specially to see one kid who did not have ear dram at all and be healed by God’s grace brought glory to the Lord God Almighty.

Jesus healed them and can hear and speak clearly.
I heard from the report that they all are learning language now.
After Nekemt on the way to Addis, Geray villagers did not let us pass through their village without ministering them. The whole town closed their business and gathered to hear God’s Word. What glorious time! God surly saw their hunger and poured out His blessing upon them. People from tumor, back problem, and deafness were healed by The Almighty God. I just want to take this time to thank you so much for your prayers and encouragements. God willing we have invitation from Ethiopia again, Kenya, and Sudan next year, so please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for greater harvest for the coming year. love you all in Christ!

Ethiopia shall soon stretch her hands to God!

I was watching God’s channel recently and I heard a prophecy of God saying that Ethiopia is one of the nation that Revival will breakout from. My heart bit was pump with joy when I heard that prophecy. Just as Prophet David declares in his Psalms surly Ethiopia shall soon stretch her hands to God. Stretching hands means surrender and submission to the One who is stronger and mighty. For sure Ethiopia’s answer is in the hand of our Heavenly Father not in politics or human efforts. David points the timing by saying “soon”, this means so quick and sudden. I believe this visitation of God is at the door and need to be ushered with tender spirit.

About two years ago I went to Ethiopia for two months vacation and privileged to minster several places. The result was tangible, and found out how people are hungry for God as never before. Again end of this month (September 2008) I will be going back again to Ethiopia. For the whole month of October we will be having crusades and conferences in different part of Ethiopia. Our schedule will be from October 3-6 in Addis Ababa, October 10-12 Arbaminch Crusade, October 17-19 Nazareth Conference, October 24-26 Assossa Crusade, and October 31-November 2 Nekemt Crusade. There will be more local conferences and programs during weekday. Wonderful friend of mine and anointed man of God Evangelist Peter Capili Hansen will be ministering with us from Sweden as well, so we ask you to pray for safe traveling, strength and God’s provision for every need.
Evangelist Peter will do relief for those who are in physical needs and preach the Good News with us.
